My name is Keshti. I'm a creative, passionate, and communicative UI/UX Designer with a focus on high-quality creations.
Open, talkative, always curious, and ready to take on new challenges! With a solid educational background, I have built a broad understanding of the design process and the creative work that goes with it. I always strive to deliver the best possible results, enhance my skills, and become a better designer ✌🏻
From doodles to design
My journey into digital design began in childhood. I remember drawing and filling out forms for fun at the age of nine, showcasing my inherent love for organizing information. As I grew older, I delved into traditional art, learning visual aesthetics and refining my ability to express ideas. Simultaneously, programming played a significant role in my life, leading me to believe that web development would be my future.
It was during a two-year web development program that I first encountered UX, and it was love at first sight. Working with design tools like Adobe XD and Figma instantly captivated me. To further enhance my UX & UI skills, I pursued a 2 year UX program after completing my web development education.
As a lifelong learner, I continuously seek ways to enhance my design process. Lately, I have been exploring how AI tools can streamline my workflow and bring fresh ideas to my projects. This ever-evolving journey fills me with excitement, as I am always seeking new opportunities to challenge myself and grow as a designer.

Design preferences & principles
Embracing feedback culture
I strongly believe in the power of a feedback-driven environment. Constructive criticism and open communication are integral to personal growth as well as the success of projects. I appreciate the value of feedback in refining my designs and continuously improving my skills. One method I actively utilize is quick sketches, as they facilitate open and honest feedback from colleagues and stakeholders. This, in turn, fosters a more efficient design process that benefits everyone involved.
Playing with color combos
I believe picking the right colors and aesthetics for every project is essential! I don't really have just one favorite color, but I absolutely love experimenting with different color combos. Take purple and yellow, teal and pink, or orange and blue, for example. Glorious! I never thought I would say this, but I'm really digging the '80s/'90s color trend happening right now.
Organized maximalism
When it comes to design, I'm all about striking a balance between structure and visual excitement. I thrive on organized chaos, where there's a method to the madness. It's an ongoing challenge for me to find that sweet spot, especially since I used to focus mostly on black-and-white art and design. But recently, I've been enjoying the fun and (for myself) slightly unusual journey of expressing my maximalist side through vibrant colors.
Balancing trends and usability
Usability should never be sacrificed for the sake of chasing trends that may come and go. I firmly believe in staying up-to-date with current design trends and following the prevailing aesthetic language. As a designer, it's essential to keep an eye on what's happening in the industry. However, I always remember the core importance of usability. No matter how trendy or stylish a design may be, if it hinders the user's ability to navigate or understand a solution, it's a problem waiting to happen.
What I like to do
In my spare time, I like to spend time in front of my PS4 with some co-op shooter or base builder game (which my cat loves because my lap will be available as a lounge for long periods). Another game genre I love is City builders, especially the ones that let me get creative. I also enjoy drawing, painting, doing macramé and small woodwork projects.
When it comes to sports, I'm a big fan of American football (#GoPackers), which my husband got me interested in at the beginning of our relationship. I don't really know why, but it was an instant love moment. I've never liked any other sport (except when Sweden plays in a World Cup hockey match) 🙃. I do know that I'm kind of a competitive person who enjoys the visualization of hard work, so that might be it!
5 Fun facts about me!
I've had several very talented artists in my family. For example, my grandmother designed the Hasselblad logo, which they still use.
1
I listen almost exclusively to Metal & '90s Pop music (although my taste in music has expanded a little bit in recent years). My husband calls me a "music snob", and he might be right...
2
I have "right" and "left" tattooed on the upper side of my wrists, which has been more convenient and helpful over the years than I expected. #Winning
3
I have a keen eye for measuring short lengths. When I was a kid, I used to impress people by splitting a deck of cards into two equal parts as a party trick. I'm not sure if I can still do it now, though, so please don't test me!
4
I have never lived a day in my life without having a cat. But I would also love to have at least 5 goats, 2 snakes, 2 horses and 3 dogs. We'll see about that.
